A few things to know.

Refer to your arrival message for entry instructions. Here are the essentials once you’re settled in.

House Manual

Welcome to OZ TRAIL HOUSE at the Summit! We’re delighted to host you while you ride, golf, explore, and relax. Thank you for helping us care for the home and be considerate of our neighbors.

Guest Occupancy & Visitors

The Oz Trail House at the summit is designed for six people and can accommodate up to eight overnight guests if pre-approved. All overnight guests must be included on the reservation.

Visitors are welcome for dinner or a small, quiet gathering. No more than twelve people—including registered overnight guests—may be on the property at one time. Large parties and events are not permitted.

Heating & Cooling

Keep all doors and windows closed while the heating or air conditioning is running.

The home has two thermostats: one in the living room and another upstairs in the common area. Both thermostats control the same heat pump and must be set to the same operating mode: Auto, Cool, or Heat.

The default mode is Auto, with the heat set to 68°F and the air conditioning set to 74°F. You’re welcome to adjust the temperatures for your comfort.

Please message us if you need assistance with the controls.

Our Home Is Pet-Free

While we love animals, our home is completely pet-free to keep the space fresh and comfortable for all guests, including those with severe allergies. Thank you for leaving your furry friends at home.

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are 10 p.m.–8 a.m. During quiet hours, keep voices, music, television, and outdoor activity to a low volume. At all other times, outdoor conversations and music must remain at a neighbor-friendly volume.

Parking

Parking is permitted only in the driveway. Do not park on the street, in neighboring driveways, or in any access route. Trailers and vehicles beyond those included in the reservation require our written approval before arrival. Unapproved vehicles or trailers may not be brought to or parked at the property.

Smoking and Vaping

Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the home, garage, and any enclosed area. Smoking is permitted outdoors only, away from doors, windows, and outdoor furniture. Dispose of cigarette butts safely in an appropriate container; do not leave them on the ground or place them in indoor trash cans.

Bikes and Outdoor Gear

Store all bikes and outdoor gear in the garage. Bikes may not be brought inside the home. Do not wash muddy bikes or gear in the showers, sinks, or inside the home. Notify us promptly about any damage caused by a bike or other equipment.

Caring for the space

Please treat the furnishings and appliances with care. Flush only toilet paper; place wipes, paper towels, and feminine hygiene products in the trash.

Security

Although we are located in a very safe and peaceful area, please do not leave valuables unattended. Any personal belongings kept at the property are left at the guest’s own risk.

All doors must be locked whenever the home is unattended.

Exterior security cameras are located around the property for safety and security.

A fire extinguisher and first-aid kit are located in the pantry.
